Creating Intentional Wedding Design
Intentional Design is more than just a buzz word to us. It’s how we operate.
Every decision in our designs has meaning and intention behind it!
Let’s take the table from our recent branding shoot:
The design started with the table linen. We were obsessed with it, and we centered the design around it. However, it would feel one-note without an accent, which is when we decided to bring in the green tones to complement the table and to mimic the green in our branding!
We brought the green into the chairs, the floral arrangements, and the menus, so that it hits multiple areas as you sit at the table.
We also loved these pleated plates from Theoni Collection! They added such texture to the design. To add more visual interest, we wanted to mimic that pleated pattern in the champagne coupes. These corduroy coupes from Catalog Atelier were perfect!
Lastly, so the table didn’t feel too busy, we added simple, modern flatware and a gold napkin from Luxe Linen.
We put in this effort into our design so that it feels cohesive and nothing feels random. In that same breath, designing in this way doesn’t happen in one day, which is why we try to find moments of inspiration everywhere we go!
